Crested gecko (Rhacodactylus ciliatus)

This baby crested gecko (Rhacodactylus ciliatus) calmly perches on your finger. But careful – cresties are known leapers! Crested geckos hail from New Caledonia and are amazingly camouflaged for a life up in the trees. Fauna currently has a number of babies in the store. We also have a breeding pair to continue to provide you a variety of captive bred animals. Most of the crested geckos in the store have been bred by Fauna’s own, Matt Lobenhofer, who has been breeding cresties so long, that this little guy is actually the offspring of one of his babies.
