Lemur Tree Frogs

Lemur Tree Frogs (Agalychnis lemur) are small tree frogs from Costa Rica and Panama. They are considered to be critically endangered in their native habitats and can now only be found in a handful of small locations. Thankfully they reproduce readily in captivity and there is much work being done in the field to provide artificial breeding pools that have proven to be quite effective. While inactive during the day lemur tree frogs are very active hunters at night.
